The project: About the House

This whole house renovation is in Buena Vista. It is a large single-family home with 3,000 sq. ft. to 4,000 square feet. The clients decided to do a whole home, multi room renovation (this was an upscale renovation!). The spaces the clients chose included a kitchen renovation, master bedroom renovation (primary bedroom renovation), master closet renovation (primary closet renovation), master bathroom renovation (primary bathroom renovation), living room renovation, den renovation, office addition and office renovation, basement renovation, laundry room addition and laundry room renovation, bedroom renovation, guest bathroom renovation, and a guest bedroom renovation.

Many luxury products were used, such as high-quality materials from Johnson Granite (formerly Bloomday Granite). The kitchen included new appliances, a farm sink, gas cooktop, appliance garage, custom cabinets, microwave drawer, and waterfall granite countertops (quartz countertops that also cover the entire wall around the cabinets, that is, the marble or quartz is also the quartz backsplash). The primary bathroom had custom tile (marble tile), custom master bathroom cabinets, and custom shower glass enclosure. The primary closet (master closet) had custom carpentry work to build custom closet cabinets with custom hardware from Parks Decorative to include hanging space, shoe rack, tie rack, belt hanger, LED lighting (2700k, 3000k, 3500k, 4000k).

The guest bathroom, powder room, den (sitting room or study), and formal dining room had designer and client selected wallpaper installed. The designer also assisted TeriLyn Adams and Tommy Adams) with organizing their furniture, and other interior design items. The fireplace and mantle were also renovated. We had custom masonry work done using reclaimed bricks. We had a custom finish carpenter build a mantle and installed a set of remote controlled gas logs to heat the living room. The living room also accommodated a large smart TV with no exposed wires, connected directly to the modem with CAT 6.
